Analytical & Development Centre

The processes associated with both waste identification and the design of suitable treatment solutions are carried out by Envirotreat’s purpose built in-house laboratory facilities.

Through the continued research and development of Envirotreat’s E-clay® technology we are able to tailor our processes to meet all treatment requirements within the fields of contaminated material remediation, problematic pollutants and waste stream recovery.

The combined use of up-to-date and classical instrumental analytical techniques enables our laboratories to support Envirotreat’s core business activities by providing the design of ex-situ/in-situ mass treatment processes and groundwater reactive treatment barriers at a fraction of the time and cost associated with independent establishments. Additionally the Envirotreat laboratories are able to offer validation of site-specific treatment processes prior to works commencing on site thus ensuring all projects can be completed on time and cost effectively.

Envirotreat conduct extensive treatability trials for each project utilising real time analysis, with projects such as stabilisation trials, batch testing and column testing for groundwater reactive treatment barriers all being carried out in accordance with Environment Agency standards, such as ‘Guidance on the use of Stabilisation/Solidification for the Treatment of Contaminated Soil’ and ‘Guidance on Treatability Studies for Permeable Reactive Barriers (PRBs)’.

These in-house laboratory capabilities bolster our commitment to providing a Total Solutions Package thereby ensuring each and every project is undertaken in a professional and comprehensive manner.
