Stabilisation & Solidification

The Envirotreat^® Stabilisation & Solidification Technology is a chemical and physical immobilisation technique incorporating the use of specially modified clays (E-clay^®). These clays can be applied for the effective remediation of contaminated soils and groundwater, enabling contaminated material to be brought back into effective use on a sound technical and commercial basis. The clays function by chemically reacting with and immobilising both inorganic and organic pollutants.

The E-clay^® process incorporates reactive reagents to bind contaminants chemically within the supporting media (i.e. clays). The clays are individually designed on a site-by-site basis depending upon a number of varying factors including the contamination type(s), the concentration(s) at which they are present and the selected system of application.

The Envirotreat^® process can be applied either
ex-situ or in-situ or in combination.
