In-situ
The in-situ methodology follows the same treatment
process as an ex-situ application and is used where the access to the
project and/or footprint is extremely limited.
The real advantage of Envirotreat’s in-situ process lies with
the ability to use E-clay® technology
at the very heart of the contaminated area. This is achieved without
imposing any risk of secondary issues to arise within the vicinity concerned
due to surface disturbances.
Additionally, the use of in-situ methods allows for contaminated material
to be effectively treated at depths that would be precluded by using
ex-situ methods.
Where required both processes can be used within the same project.
