Having been approached by Ash Remediation for a specialist remediation solution for treating contaminated Gas Holder Waste at a former gas works in Manchester. Envirotreat were able to demonstrate treatability through a range of laboratory trials. Envirotreat were able to reduce leachability of a range of contaminants of concern (including benzene, naphthalene, cyanide and ammonium) as well as producing a geotechnical product suitable for re-use. The works were undertaken by Ash Remediation.
