Working with the Anderson Group, Envirotreat designed and implemented a remediation strategy enabling the residential development of a former petrol filling station in North London. Envirotreat developed a suitable remediation strategy to satisfy the requirements of the Council / planners, the NHBC and the Environment Agency. Envirotreat undertook all aspects of the remediation works including removal of tanks, validation of excavations following excavation of contaminated soils, E-Clay stabilisation of hydrocarbon impacted soils & encountered groundwater prior to re-emplacement on site. In addition Envirotreat installed an E-Clay soil mixed permeable reactive permeable barrier to mitigate risks to off-site groundwater / surface water receptors. Envirotreat obtained all the necessary statutory approvals to enable the development to proceed.
