Working with Earth Science Partnership and Gwalia (social housing developer), Envirotreat undertook the remediation of 7,500 tonnes of hydrocarbon / metal contaminated soils excavated from the front and rear gardens of an existing social housing development in Llanelli, South Wales. The works provided a cost effective alternative to offsite disposal. The treated soils were recovered in accordance with the CL:AIRE Code of Practice to be utilised as fill material for a future development on adjoining land (by the same client).
