Envirotreat Technologies Limited was engaged by the Client’s representative to agree a demolition plan and subsequent remediation strategy and methodology with the local council to address identified human health contamination issues on the site. The agreed methodology comprised an integrated approach incorporating an E-Clay containing PRB along the site boundary combined with source E-Clay stabilisation of contaminated soils surrounding three beneath ground fuel tanks. Envirotreat also removed the tanks as part of the agreed strategy. Validation testing demonstrated the efficacy of the remediation works and enabled the discharge of the relevant planning conditions.
