Speller Metcalfe engaged Envirotreat to carry out supplementary site investigation works at the former Boden Mill site in Chard, Somerset to facilitate the discharge of relevant planning conditions. The works comprised the installation of 6 No cable percussive boreholes, 11 no trial pits, monitoring well installation, soil sampling and groundwater monitoring / sampling. The works enabled the discharge of the planning conditions and commencement of the site’s redevelopment as a new Leisure Centre.
