New Aldi / Lock n Store development Staines

Envirotreat were commissioned by ADI Building & Refurbishment to to carry out a pre-tender assessment of all risks associated with the development of a former Brownfield site in Staines. The proposed project consisted of the construction of a new Aldi store and Lock n Store facility.

The assessment of pre-tender information indicated the requirement for remediation of hydrocarbon impacted soils which were impacting the groundwater.

Envirotreat prepared a Remediation Strategy / Method Statement for the onsite treatment and reuse of the hydrocarbon contaminated soils

Following delineation of the source, Envirotreat undertook E-Clay Stabilisation of the contaminated soils.

In addition, Envirotreat provided a watching brief during the enabling works for further contamination.
