Following a fire at a maintenance yard at a private school in Suffolk, Envirotreat was engaged by McLarens Loss Adjusters to fully assess the site and to propose investigation and remediation measures require to mitigate any potential risks to the sensitive underlying chalk aquifer and to ensure the site was returned to it’s pre-incident state.
Envirotreat designed and implemented a comprehensive site investigation, involving shallow soils assessment and potential impacts to underlying chalk aquifer. Impacted hardstanding and shallow soils were removed from site to enable reinstatement with clean materials. This removed any potential ongoing risks to groundwater and allowed the groundworks team to commence redevelopment in a timely manner.
