Site Investigation works starting today at Peel Power Station (Isle of Man) to investigate an historical oil spill at the facility. Envirotreat successfully tendered for this work which involved in installation of 2 No Cable Percussive Boreholes to 10m bgl and 6 No windowless sample boreholes to 5m bgl. The work will be followed by 3 rounds of groundwater and groundwater level monitoring to assess contamination issues and tidal influence.
