New Inn Fire Station, Pontypool – PFAS Remediation

Envirotreat has successfully completed the installation of an E-Clay Permeable Reactive Barrier (PRB) at the former New Inn Fire Station, Pontypool. The remediation proposed sucessfully addressed PFAS contamination within groundwater beneath the site impacting the nearby Afan Lwyd. The PRB installtion ensures the ongoing PFAS pollution risk to the River is reduced and the site development continues as per the programme.
