Envirotreat were commissioned by Cardiff City Council to undertake a comprehensive site / ground investigation. The site being the County Hall car park (park and ride) and associated areas around the County Hall. This is part of the future development for a stadium and hotel facility. Envirotreat were working with Mott McDonald on the scope and design of the site investigation.
A series of cable percussion boreholes, rotary probing, trial pitting was undertaken.
A series of trial trenches were excavated to locate the former wharf wall.
Soakage testing, gas monitoring and groundwater monitoring was undertaken.
