The site is approximately 4.5 hectares and roughly triangular in plan, located off Basin Lane
The site is being redeveloped for residential use comprising houses and flats with associated gardens, landscaping and car parking.
Envirotreat successfully completed the remediation works, treating a total of 340 m³ of soils contaminated with Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH) fractions. The remediation strategy for the Tamworth site was designed to address the source and indirectly the pathway contamination issues, with the intention of protecting the potential human health and groundwater receptors.
