Envirotreat was requested to attend the Beorma Quarter site in Birmingham by Gleeds following discovery and removal of fuel UST during ongoing archaeological works.
Envirotreat attended site to assess the situation and found the tank had been removed, the soils and local groundwater was obviously impacted with hydrocarbon contamination.
Envirotreat returned site and undertook samples soil and groundwater samples to ascertain the extent of the contamination and delineate.
Envirotreat submitted samples of soils and groundwater for analysis which indicated elevated TPH contamination.
Envirotreat provided Gleeds with a factual report.
