Envirotreat was commissioned by Galliford Try undertake hydrocarbon contamination remediation in Lichfield.
The scope of works included the design and implemention of a remediation strategy to address the contaminants of concern (total petroleum hydrocarbons, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and BTEX) and receptor & pathways identified.
Envirotreat implemented source treatment (E-Clay Stabilisation) of identified contamination hotspots and addressed groundwater impacts through addition of E-Clay slurry through a series of borehole installations into the contamination plume.
