Gleeds commissioned Envirotreat to attend the Beorma Quarter site in Birmingham the undertake a ground investigation, following the discovery of an underground fuel storage tank during ongoing archaeological works.
On attending site, Envirotreat found the tank had been removed and the soils and local groundwater were obviously impacted with hydrocarbon contamination.
Envirotreat undertook sampling of the soil and groundwater to ascertain the extent of the contamination and delineate the contamination accordingly.
Envirotreat attended site to supervise the excavation and offsite disposal of locally impacted soils.
On completion of the works, Envirotreat provided Gleeds with a factual report .
