Envirotreat was engaged by Speller Metcalfe to carry out site investigation at the former New Inn Fire Station site. Findings confirmed PFAS contamination in soil and groundwater on site. Surface water monitoring confirmed PFAS contamination in the River. Envirotreat proposed a robust and sustainable remediation solution comprising the installtion of a PRB to treat groundwater as it leaves site to protect the nearby river during demolition and enabling works.
