Site Investigation for a Residential Development
The site was previously a car repair workshop located near Ashton Gate, Bristol. Developments Bristol has purchased the site for the construction of a new residential development.
Envirotreat was engaged by the client to carry out a Phase 1 and 2 intrusive site investigation as part of the pre-commencement planning conditions for the development. This comprised drilling of 5 windowless boreholes, in-situ penetration testing, soil sample testing and groundwater monitoring.
All information gathered during the investigation was compiled into a detailed report for submission to the Local Council. The work was completed prior to the demolition of the building and carried out alongside ongoing activities at the premises.
