Envirotreat was commissioned by a local developer (Haven Homes) to undertake a site investigation on the former gas works site at Port St Mary.
The works comprised
6No. cable percussion borehole installations.
7No. windowless borehole installations
12No. trial pit excavations
Low flow groundwater monitoring
Comprehensive soil testing of stockpiled soils being considered for capping.
Based on the findings, Envirotreat provided a Remediation Options Appraisal and Remediation Strategy to obtain Regulatory approval from DEFA
