Envirotreat has completed a site investigation at the Peel Power Station for Manx Utilities and Curtins.
The works involved the installation of a number of windowless and cable precussion boreholes to enable delineation of an historical fuel spillage at the facility.
Soil samples were taken for geotechincal and geoenvironental assessment.
Groundwater sampling were taken using via in-situ low-flow was undertaken including free product assessment via an oil/water interface dip meter and level loggers & barometric logger installed for monitoring groundwater levels.
On completion of the site works and ongoing monitoring, Envirotreat produced a factural report for Curtins
