Envirotreat successfully treated contaminated soils at the site in Handforth. The 1,800 m² site in a residential area was formerly a Save Service Station, used as a retail outlet supplying petroleum products. Historical usage had resulted in soil and perched groundwater contamination across the site especially in the location of the storage tank farms. Following the completion of the remedial works, the site was developed by David McLean Homes Ltd into residential flats with communal gardens and landscaped areas.
